How to Create a Popular Blog Post

Every blogger has high hopes when they put their new posts on their blogs, but the fact is most of them will fall short in their effectiveness. Here are a few tips to help you get the most mileage from your posts.

If you are unfamiliar with writing articles or posts, then remember that you always have to provide something that lends credibility to what you are saying. Not only do examples make the read more interesting, but they will help you make your point plus people will be able to see what your argument more clearly. On the other hand, you have to just play things by ear as you are the only person who knows if some kind of illustration is even needed. But if and when you want your blog post to penetrate the minds of your target audience and connect to your readers on a whole new level, then having an example sure does make a big difference. Bear in mind that people tend to view news articles and stories as factual, and you can cause some of that credibility to rub off onto you if you use them. A blog post that is not dry and stale will generally be read just as long as everything else is right about it. We doubt that you will ever really have a hard time finding credible examples on the net to use for your blog posts, so take advantage of this approach.

The one thing that very many people respond to is the use of humor and content that is not boring. One thing you do not want is to detract by using too much humor because that can diminish what you accomplish. All visitors are busy, for the most part, and you can easily annoy people if you take forever making your point. If your post topic can support the use of humor, then just relax and let it flow out. Believe it or not, but the way you feel will be reflected in the writing, so keep that mind if you are having a bad day, etc.

If you come across a post on another blog that you think would be useful to your readers, then go ahead and share it. When they understand that you are trying to help them, they will see that and also know that many bloggers will not place links going off their site.

If you're being genuine in your approach and have a true intention of giving your readers the best resources, then they'll become even more loyal to your blog and keep coming back to get consistent value. Creating and sustaining positive relationships with your readers is what this is all about.

Most bloggers are capable of doing more, but then again most people online who are in business are not terribly dedicated. If you want to know why most people fail at online business, it is because they do not learn and they give up too easily - so you do the opposite.
